Class Assignment    "Artist Inspiration"                                            Due today 3-27-'15

In this assignment you are to find an artist that inspires you.  This artist can be your favorite one or a new artist maybe that you heard of but needed to search for more information on the artist.  The artist you pick can be from any Art Period.

Your resource will be to search on Google.com for information and images of this artist you are writing about.  Remember to NOT plagiarize other's work, always site and give credit to the artist.  When posting an other's work write the following information under the photo.  Include the following, Artists name, title of piece and media used.

What should be included in your assignment.

1. Five images of the artists work, including artist name, title of work and media used to create the work. (use the Add Caption feature)

2. Your own comments on each of the 5 images artist's work, (3-4 sentences long)
Be specific on what you like and why.  Always give a solid explanation.  Use the art vocabulary to help you describe the artwork. (Art Elements and Principles of design)

3. Write about this artist that inspires you, what specifically about their art you would like to try to capture in your own artwork.  This should be no shorter than (one paragraph long)

4.  Title the post "Artist Inspiration" and post on your Student Post page.
